Meet Sam

Sam writes romance that celebrates love in all its iterations – whether swoon-worthy, geeky, or, better yet, a mix of both. Her Roll for Romance series sees characters as nerdy as she is rolling the dice in more ways than one, whilst her wanderlusty Santorini duology has sold over 100,000 copies. 

Armed with an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Roehampton and editing experience at Big Five publishers, Sam knows her way around both sides of a manuscript. She moved from the US to the UK for her MA, and she now calls the South Coast home with her partner and her golden retriever Kirby.

When she's not chipping away at her endless TBR or making her own characters roll for charisma, Sam can be found crocheting, solving a jigsaw puzzle, wild swimming with Kirby, or listening to horror podcasts (despite being an absolute scaredy cat). She also firmly believes that the best stories happen around a table with friends, dice, and far too many snacks, and her TTRPG campaigns are either meticulously archived or in one ear and out the other – no in-between.
