For authors early in their writing process, a developmental edit helps clarify the story, address any big-picture challenges, and ideate collaboratively.
Cost: £650
Timeline: 2-3 weeks

Once the story ideas are sound and a draft has been honed by the author, a structural edit helps to address the reader experience within that story. Structure, tone, and development of individual story elements are covered in this kind of edit.
Cost: £800
Timeline: 3-4 weeks

For a structurally solid story, the next stage is line edits. These highlight opportunities for more immersion, improvements in craft, continuity and accuracy, and more granular structural considerations.

Because I only offer copyediting and proofreading services for authors I have worked with on the above stages, I deliver them together. These include more granular looks at accuracy and continuity, as well as proofreading for grammar, punctuation, etc.
